Bayleigh Fortenberry

Hello, my name is Bayleigh and I am a passionate brain health coach looking to help people reach their maximum potential. My schooling was done through the Amen University instructed by Dr. Daniel Amen. Over the last eleven years, I have gained extensive experience as a dental assistant, honoring my skills in patient care. In those years, I have realized a lot of people struggle with mental and health problems. Through this experience, I have heard many stories of people sharing their struggles and it made me realize that there was an issue that needed to be addressed and I wanted to be apart of that help. I knew there had to be a scientific way behind how we think, act and feel and it not being necessarily a situation of it being the “cards you’ve been dealt”. This made me grow a passion to help others with these day to day issues. As someone who needed help, I wanted to understand the science behind my brain. Once I found Dr. Amen and saw his program, I immediately knew this was my purpose in life. My goal has always been to help people and show that you are never alone and change is possible. I strive for a successful life for you and I cannot wait to see you reach this goal and unlock your full potential! I want this to be something that people can use when they feel like they have tried everything and feel like you have nowhere else to turn. A: A therapist addresses phycological issues and mental health disorders through clinical technique, while a brain health coach focuses on optimizing cognitive function and overall brain health through lifestyle and wellness strategies.

WHAT CAN A BRAIN HEALTH COACH HELP PREVENT OR REVERSE?

A: We can assists individuals in preventing and potential reversing cognitive decline by regaining brain flow and brain activity. (ex: Helping with Alzheimers cognitive training and activities, healthy lifestyle promotion, routine establishment, support for caregivers, adaptive strategies, emotional well being, monitoring progress, advocacy and resources). A brain health coach cannot cure this disease, but with a holistic approach, it can lead to improve quality of life and better management of daily challenges associated with Alzheimers.
